Behold the cutting edge of all-purpose optics technology! The Mueller Tac II rifle scope. Designed to bridge the gap between
specialty Tactical rifle scopes and every-day Hunting scopes, this optic is packed with a plethora of high-quality standard
features. With maximum internal adjustment of 95moa in a 1" tube, it gives both the long-range tactical shooter and the long-range
hunter the ability to reach out further than they ever thought possible from a 1” scope . The standard Mildot reticle
has long been referred to as the greatest general purpose reticle for both Hunting and Target shooting. Easy to master, once
you become familiar with the Mildot reticle, the advantages are endless, some even saying, "once you try it, you will never
use anything else".
The Tac II riflescope not only offers an extremely wide angle field of view but also offers a generous amount of eye-relief
for high caliber rifles and a view that is crystal clear from edge-to-edge. The edge-to-edge clarity and brightness highlight
the unparalleled craftsmanship and quality of the glass used. The new Mueller Tac II is by far the best scope we have produced
to date! With standard features like ¼” positive click adjustments, fully multi-coated lenses produced of superior Japanese
optical glass, and a Limited Lifetime warranty, who could ask for anything more? And at a price that "can't" be matched!
If you have a demand for extremely high quality, the Tac II will meet your needs!
Why are more and more Hunters switching to Mildot reticles? The ability to reach out further by easily compensating for
bullet drop.
How to Range-find a Whitetail Deer
with a Mildot Reticle
Let's say the average height of a Whitetail’s body (bottom of belly to top of back) is 18″. We know that one
mil = 3.6″ @ 100yds, which means the Whitetails body will be 5 mils @ 100yds (18″ ÷ 3.6 = 5) or 2.5 mils @ 200yds
(18″ ÷ 7.2 = 2.5) or even 1 mil @ 500yds (18" ÷ 18 = 1). By knowing your range, you can then switch over to using the
Mildot reticle for BDC (bullet drop compensation). By calculating your BDC and knowing where on the reticle to hold over for
the specific range allows you to make extremely accurate shots never before thought possible. Another useful trick is using
the zoom setting to put one of the mildots exactly where your point of impact is for that specific range. Accurate mildot
calculations are based off the scope being set @ 10×. Knowing how to range-find with the mildot reticle also limits motion
as opposed to using a completely separate range-finding unit.
